WHO I AM AS A TEACHER

  •   My teaching philosophy

My philosophy in teaching is to provide students with confidence, tranquility and motivation in learning, with activities that help them internalize and assimilate in their learning.

I believe that the teacher must give the students confidence so that their progress is evident in the use of the language, eliminating barriers of fear of making mistakes and taking the risk of using the language to express ideas and opinions.

Considering that each student is a totally different person from another in their learning, I use different tools so that they can assimilate and use in the development of activities that are practical and focused on their learning.

  •   My beliefs about my teaching

- I believe that the teacher-student relationship must be closely linked to respect and tolerance so that the work is pleasant and harmonious for learning.

- Make use of methodology and strategies so that students' learning is meaningful, taking into account learning styles.

- Use of practical activities that are related to the objective set at the beginning that you want to achieve in the planning of the class.

  •        What I learned about teaching speaking skills

What I learned from teaching speaking skills is "continuous practice" is the best activity that can be done, giving the confidence for the student to risk using English to convey their ideas and opinions. regardless of the mistakes that are made since with continuous practice the errors that little by little cease to appear in the ability of speech are polished.

  •           What I learned about teaching in online environments

With teaching in online environments I learned that technology is a great ally for the practice of speaking, there are multiple tools, applications, videos and activities that contribute to meaningful learning in a pleasant and attractive way for students. They are very supportive in teaching the language. I love technology and the versatility that it has in teaching-learning, as long as it is a support for the teacher.
